Packet

The Storehouse has a packet system setup on 145.050 Mhz.  We use an Icom IC-2300H connected to a TNC-X TNC.  The TNC is connected to a Windows 7 PC which is running the BPQ32 packet server software.

We currently recommend using Outpost Packet Message Manger for communicating with the packet station although any packet terminal will work.

The packet station is currently connected to the Internet.  You can connect to the packet station and send emails to public email addresses.  Emails sent to <<callsign>>@k2lds.net will also be received into the packet station for retrieval.  For instance if you try sending an email to k2mjm@k2lds.net it will be received by Mat Murdock (K2MJM).
